What is a Mom?

SO much runs through my head when I think of being a mom and what it all entails.

Once you become a Mom, you are always a Mom no matter what else happens in your life.

October 1994 changed my life forever...I became Mom to a beautiful baby boy who stole my heart at first sight.

Since that day I am Mom to my beautiful daughter in 1999 and my beautiful baby boy in 2004.


I never set out to be a single Mom, I was married before having children and remained until 2014 when my then husband decided he no longer wanted to be married to me and left. Crazy as it is I felt a bit of peace as our marriage had been one of many troubles for the 20+ years.

I never left because my values are to honor my marriage vows and did all I could to keep my family intact, but was not able to.

Here I am a little over 3 1/2 years later still going through a roller coaster of emotions.

I have great days and weeks and then BAM wicked emotions come running back.

Especially when the past comes back and hits me right upside my head.

I know this is temporary.

I know this is short lived and I will feel whole again.

This is a process.

I need to work the process.

Let's see where it takes me shall we?
