I used to think of the top 4 things when I thought of shopping second hand.
It is truly a learned skill to be a good second hand shopper. It is a skill I have learned out of necessity.
Being a single mom, a mom who had been a stay at home Mom for 20 years I really did find it difficult to get a job that not only worked with my life, crazy as it had become, but paid enough to make my bills and care for my children.
Enter in my motivation to not just shop second hand but to excel at finding the best deals for all we needed from clothing to household goods.
Living in a small area has its pros and cons when trying to do this. The coon is my options may be limited....and they are. However that did not discourage me.
I began by asking around, looking and researching and visiting many shops within a certain distance from my home. Eventually I began to learn how the stores did business and knew the best time to go and search for my treasures.

Searching I have done and treasures I have found! You too can find treasures, they are closer than you think....you just have to look...really hard.
So go forth and conquer wielding great treasures along your way!
